34 Preface وَلَقَد أَنزَلنا إِلَيكُم آياتٍ مُبَيِّناتٍ وَمَثَلًا مِنَ الَّذينَ خَلَوا مِن قَبلِكُم وَمَوعِظَةً لِلمُتَّقينَYusuf AliWe have already sent down to you verses making things clear, an illustration from (the story of) people who passed away before you, and an admonition for those who fear (God).1This prepares the way for the magnificent Verse of Light that follows, and its sublime meaning.
