42وَإِذ قالَتِ المَلائِكَةُ يا مَريَمُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصطَفاكِ وَطَهَّرَكِ وَاصطَفاكِ عَلىٰ نِساءِ العالَمينَA. J. ArberryAnd when the angels said, 'Mary, God has chosen thee, and purified thee; He has chosen thee above all women.
