O Dawud (David)! Verily We have made you (Our) vicegerent in the earth. So judge between the people (or rule) with Truth and Justice. And do not follow your desire or (this following the desire) shall turn you away from the path of Allah. Surely those who turn away from the path of Allah, for them is severe punishment because they forget the Day of Reckoning.
