14 Preface عِندَ سِدرَةِ المُنتَهىٰAhmed AliBy the Lote-tree beyond which none can pass,1 Sidrat al-muntaha, the Lote-tree beyond which one could pass, marks the limit of man’s reach, the sphere of Relativity, beyond which lies the realm of the Absolute.
