32وَإِذ قالُوا اللَّهُمَّ إِن كانَ هٰذا هُوَ الحَقَّ مِن عِندِكَ فَأَمطِر عَلَينا حِجارَةً مِنَ السَّماءِ أَوِ ائتِنا بِعَذابٍ أَليمٍN. J. DawoodThey also say: ‘Lord, if this be Your revealed truth, rain down upon us stones from heaven or send some dreadful scourge to punish us.’
